Features Benefits
Hum Tone Deters techniques utilized to mimic human breath or to absorb alcohol.
Random and Fixed Retests Deters drinking after completing a sober start and vehicle idling at bars.
Timed Lock-Out Can restrict driving hours and may be used as a temporary immobilization tool.
Bypass Detect Deters hot-wiring and push-starting of vehicles.
Events Log A built-in memory chip records all events. Reports are generated and printable.
Vehicle Restart When a vehicle stalls, there is a grace period during which a retest is not necessary.
Services Reminder Reset Reminds the client of a scheduled monitoring check before lockout.
Emergency Bypass Client is required to report to the service center before the vehicle is immobilized. Proof of an emergency is required and unauthorized use is reported.
Violations Reset If a pre-determined number of violations occurs an early inspection is required. Failure to report will result in immobilization of the vehicle.
Power Interrupt A dated record of power disconnects or interruptions which deters tampering.
Required Calibration This feature will require computer calibration of the device after a specified amount of time.
Monthly & Bi-Monthly Calibrations The monitoring check for the device may be preset to one or two months or less.
Early Service Recall The client is required to return to the service location within a set amount of time should the unit detect that the alcohol sensor may be ready to fail.
LED Display lights Easy to read notifications are also shown on the back of every appointment card.
Host Information Management System Proprietary software that controls the programming of the chip inside the unit.
